Lin died suddenly but peacefully at the Royal Derby Hospital on Saturday 8th August 2020, aged 79 years. Lin was an inspiration to all who knew her and touched everyone with her infectious laughter, determination to overcome adversity and positive attitude to life. Beloved Wife of Ivan, much loved Mum to Phillip, Martin, Lewis and Mother in Law to Nicola and Fei. Devoted Grandmother to Lucy, Jack and Joanne. Dearly loved Sister of Jill and David. Lin grew up in Sydney, Australia but made her life in Derby where she made many special friends including through her work as a speech therapist. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends in the UK, Australia and around the world. Due to current restrictions, a private funeral service will take place at Markeaton Crematorium on Monday 24th August. The service will be webcast.
