God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be
So he put his arms around you and whispered "come with me"
With tearful eyes I watched you suffer and saw you fade away.
Although I loved you deeply I could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest.
God broke my heart to prove to me, He only takes the best.

My heart still aches with sadness and many tears flow.
What it means to lose you no one will ever know.
I hold you close within my heart and there you will remain
To walk with me, throughout my life
Until we meet again.

I have fond memories of you in your role of Health and Safety Manager, many years ago. You were so easy to get on with. We worked together.
You are at peace now but won't be forgotton.
