PeterALLEN7th October 2020 Peter Allen Passed away peacefully in Hull Royal Infirmary, 7th October, surrounded by his wife and family. A devoted and loving husband to Anita and much loved Dad to Jane, Mike and Marie. He will be sadly missed by his granddaughters, Charlotte and Emily and his sister Pat. Pete was known for his energy and dedication. He will be missed by many friends and family who he met, and helped in his years serving as a trade union officer, councillor and Lord Mayor of Hull. He is at peace after a long illness. The funeral cortege will be leaving Askew Avenue at 10:50 and travelling down Hessle Road between 10:50 and 11:00 to the service at Holy Trinity Church on November 2nd at 11:45, followed by a private family committal at Northern Cemetery. Due to the current Covid restrictions the funeral is invitation only.
