John passed peacefully on15th September 2025, aged 79 years.

Devoted Husband of the late Ann, dearly loved Dad of Julie Ann, special Father-in-law of Anthony, treasured Grandad of Hannah and Joshua. Also, a dear Brother of Peter and Brother-in-law of Margaret.

Funeral Service to take place on Monday 13th October at Birtley Crematorium, at 12 noon.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to the British Heart Foundation which can be made directly or left on the day.

I was sad to hear of the passing of John he always had a smile on his face around Kibblesworth in his wheel chair and I also cared for him in hospital while I was studying and again he smiled and laughed with me as he recognised me stright away. Our condolences to all the family and we send love on this very sad day. Love from Oneil family
