JohnARTHUR OBEPeacefully whilst in the tender care of Ancaster House, Crieff on Sunday 14th November 2021, John in his 84th year. Loved and loving husband of Ruth, cherished father of Christine and Andrew, greatly respected father-in-law to Nick and Julie, special grandfather to Mike, Owen, Amy and Rhys and a good friend to many. Funeral service at Crieff Seventh-day Adventist Church on Monday 29th November at 12.00pm to which all friends are invited. The family welcomes donations to adra.org.uk as an expression of sympathy instead of flowers.

The Fielding family have many treasured memories through the years of their dear friend John and he will never be forgotten, as his life touched so many people for the good. We remember his ministry and his special work with ADRA, and we pray that donations to ADRA will enable this work to continue. Our thoughts and prayers are with Ruth and family at this time as they say goodbye to their much loved husband, father and grandfather. With our love from Alvin and Anthea Fielding.

So sorry to hear about John. I was one of John’s home carers a number of years ago. I enjoyed my time with John talking about our mutual love of football. Thoughts are with Ruth and John’s family. Rest in peace John. I hope your flying your Tranmere Rovers flag. X
