On behalf of everyone at Bassingham School, we send our condolences.
Mrs Ash worked at school for many years, and after retirement was a keen supporter of school.
Thank you for everything you did for us at school.

For, Helen.
You were a true friend and guide. For twenty years on the Parish Council we were side by side, with you gently in the lead. To all, you were a kind and firm tutor, a wonderful colleague and an outstanding public servant to Bassingham and beyond. We owe you.
The meeting is over. It went rather well. Let's go home.

Mrs Ash will be sadly missed by everyone in and around Bassingham.
She was the school secretary when we moved to the village in 1988 and longstanding clerk to the Parish Council, a local historian who will be greatly missed by many.
