JoanASHCROFTOn Friday, 28th October, 2022, peacefully passed away at Roseland Court Care Home, Tregony. Joan, aged 90 years, of Truro, former landlady of The White Hart and active member of many Darts Leagues. Devoted wife to Tommy (deceased). Loving mum to Diane and Chris, mother-in-law to Steve. Adored grandma to her grandchildren and great-grandma to her great-grandchildren. The funeral service will take place on Monday, 14th November, at 2.30pm, in the Kernow Chapel, Penmount Crematorium. Lovely Joan. I used to help you when I worked in the Roseland. We had many lovely conversations when I assisted you. I often thought about you when I left. I always remember you telling me "you have your carers, and you have your caring carers, and you my darling are a caring carer:. You lifted me when I doubted myself and thought I wasn't good enough at my job.
I will continue to miss that lovely smile of yours and your kind words.
It was an absolute pleasure to have met you. Thank you for always being kind to me.
