My lovely dad, I still can’t believe you have gone. How unsteady it is to lose the rock upon which we stood. In our hearts, thoughts and dreams forever.
His charming ways and smiling face;
Are a pleasure to recall;
He had a kindly word for each;
And died beloved by all.

Grandad, there would never have been enough time or enough words but thank you for everything! I can’t believe it has been almost a month since you left us. Life hasn’t felt the same… you taught us all so many life lessons but you never taught us how to carry on without you! We have so much to tell you, how big and strong Immy is getting and how the house is coming along, I know you would of taken so much joy in seeing her and hearing all about it - I can’t believe you will never come to visit us there! Coming home from London also feels strange now….you were always our first port of call - we have found ourselves at a loose end trying to fill the hours we would usually spend with you but the hole you have left behind is too big to fill, it will never feel right without you here! Grandad, this still doesn’t feel real but we take comfort knowing you loved us all, lived a full life and are now reunited with the love of your life Nanny V, give her a big kiss from us! I will love and miss you always and talk about you often.
