IanBAGGOTT80 years old, died unexpectedly 20th August 2021 Ian, formerly of Spilsby leaves Janet wife of 53 years, siblings Peter in Spilsby and Janet in Idaho, nephews and nieces in the UK and USA. Educated at The King Edward VI Grammar School in Spilsby, Ian was a keen sportsman playing football, hockey and table tennis sometimes in favour of studying! A career in Local Government spanning 40 years began at Spilsby RDC. He married Janet in 1968. The couple moved to Peterborough where he worked for Peterborough Development Corporation. Subsequently he spent 20 years working at Cambridgeshire County Council. He never forgot his Spilsby roots and happy upbringing and often returned to visit family. Ian and Janet travelled extensively throughout their marriage, the UK, parts of Europe, and visited the Far East and USA several times. They returned to Lincolnshire in 1999 after taking early retirement. Ian was an avid reader with a wide range of interests and well liked by all who knew him. He is sadly missed by Janet, Family and Friends.
