EuniceBAMBEREunice Evelyn Elsie Bamber, of Railway Terrace, Great Harwood, passed away on Saturday, September 17, aged 97. Eunice was a speech therapist at Enflied Training Centre before she retired in 1986. She liked photography, was a great animal lover, member of several animal charities and zoos. She was a (retired) Brown Owl from Central Methodist Brownie Group for 30 years, member of Trefoil Guild, and Great Harwood Branch of the WI. Eunice was the wife of the late Alf Bamber, auntie to nieces and nephews, and dear friend to Lesley. Her funeral will take place on Wednesday, October 5 at 1.45pm at Trinity URC Methodist Church, King Street, Great Harwood conducted by Rev Mark Jason followed by a 3pm committal at Accrington Crematorium. No flowers please; donations to be made to Breast Cancer Care. Funeral director: Great Harwood Funeral Service.

Very sorry to hear of Mrs Bamber’s passing. A truly remarkable lady, Mrs Bamber will be fondly remembered by all that knew her and she will be sadly missed. She was our Brown Owl at Central Methodist Brownie Group she kept us busy with fun weekly activities and games. She will be sadly missed by all that knew her. she became a good friend to our family. She loved animals and her beloved dogs. Always in our hearts. With love, Kate & family x
