HilaryBECKETTDied peacefully after a short illness on Sunday 3rd July. 'When I go blind I won't see you, but I'll always hear your voice.' (anon). The funeral service will be held at Thornhill Crematorium, Wenallt Chapel on Friday 5th August at 11.00am. The family would like to thank the staff of Duthie Ward at the University Hospital of Wales. Hilary was such a great voice tutor. Supportive and smiling and at times a little eccentric, but we all loved her the more for that! I remember she was one of the few tutors who came to see me in a production of Midsummer Night’s Dream after leaving the Welsh College. I think this was the last time we met. She will be sadly missed, but her work does carry on in all the students she’s taught and inspired over the years. A truly lovely lady. Thank You Hilary, for all that you were and gave! R.I.P. x
