Amazing gentleman and head teacher he was a blessing to whitegate children and parents alike. As a family we have fond memories of cross country runs in the rain wind and snow. He was there for the children with all his heart, my girls lives were made better by this kind caring man.

As a Whitegate Governor, I was a member of the selection panel that appointed Graham to Whitegate. I was Chair of Governors for the whole of his 22-year career at Whitegate. We worked together closely on a number of projects, a major one being the creation an all-through 3-11 primary school. The contribution Graham made to the enrichment of the lives of children and the community in Clifton generally was immense. He will be long remembered and cherished not only by those with whom and for whom he worked but also by family and friends, like me, for whom his untimely death has been a considerable blow.
