IrisBELLOn 6th August 2022, aged 100 years, peacefully. Iris, loving wife of the late Vincent, much loved Mother of Alison and Christine, Grandmother of Laura, Sophie, Anne Marie and Jonathan. Great Grandmother to Jade and Jayden. Loved Aunt of Dorothy and a good friend to many. Iris was a retired school secretary having worked at Benfield School. Friends please meet for service at St Georges URC Church (Newton Road, High Heaton) on Tuesday 23rd August at 10:30am followed by a private burial. Please wear something blue No flowers by request, donations in lieu, if desired to St Oswald's Hospice, Newcastle via retiring collection at the church. All are welcome to join the family at St Georges afterwards for light refreshments and to celebrate Iris's life. Enquiries to Walker and Morrell.

Iris was our much loved friend . She was a very special friend of my Aunty Dot . Iris was a very special person . I loved her positive outlook on life and how fiercely independent she was . She was inspirational and she will be missed by myself and my family . I feel blessed to have known you . Rest in the arms of the angels my friend . Until meet again . Xxxxxxxxx
