Grandad,
I miss you so much.
You had the kindest heart, and always had time for all of your family. We know that’s what was most important to you.
You had the warmest smile & best laugh.
You really were the most incredible man.
One in a million.
I had the best times growing up as a child with you and nan. For you both and those memories I am so grateful. Grateful to be apart of your family, grateful for being your granddaughter and for you and nan teaching me all of those things to make me to the person iam.
We are all so lucky to have special memories with you, for me and jo those times we spent in wales were the best.
All those journeys you made, Driving all the way to Essex to pick us up and bring us back to wales and spend our summers with you.
I have moments when I remember the times we spent with you, one was of you making for me and jo those hanging shell chimes using a ball float 🤣
I don’t think nan was ever best pleased with the smelly little fish we would bring back in the buckets as well as the shells from the beach.
I Remember the fun we had on the wave machines at the swimming pool, we use to laugh at the story of when you ripped a whole in your shorts from the water slides.
I smile, as I remember how much you loved your little green house, growing your fruit and veg and sitting in the sun, maybe with a glass of red in the summer house with nan.
You both came as a pair, an eternal love that is so rare now days and when nan passed away, half of you went with her. But I know you stayed strong for all of us. You did so well in those years without nan, I know for you and us it wasn’t the same without her but are all so pleased you got to do some of the things you did in that time.
Grandad, I miss you so so much, And I am truly honored to be your granddaughter.
If tears could build a stairway to heaven I’d hug you so tight.
Give nan a big kiss for us, I’m sure you have so much to catch up on.
Goodbye Godbless xx
Sarah
