FrankBENNISON(of Acklam) Died peacefully on January 2nd aged 94 years. Beloved husband of the late Marjorie, a much loved father, father in law and grandad. A private family service will take place at Teesside Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired for the Great North Air Ambulance in cheque form may be sent care of John Blenkiron & Sons, 21 Queens Road, Richmond. DL10 4AJ.

Came across this notification in a search of my 'college professors'. My condolences (rather late) to Bennison's family.
I was a student at Teesside Poly where he taught Fluid Mechanics in 1978. He was instrumental in making me understand the subject well and went on to have a successful career in applying that knowledge at work in many countries - Singapore, France, Oman and now in the US.!
I ace'd his exam (due to him) and will forever remember him as an excellent and fair instructor.
May you Rest In Peace Mr. Bennison, sir!
