Una And MiriamBLANCHON AND WOODWARDDear sisters, Una Madeline Blanchon (neé Woodward) and Miriam Amy Woodward, passed away peacefully within days of each other. Beloved sisters of Mary and the late Roland, Charlie, Bob, Norman and Bernard. Sisters in law of Cynthia and the late Pam and Tony. Una, passed away on Thursday 12th May 2022, at Royal Derby Hospital, aged 95 years. Dearly loved wife of the late John Michael Blanchon (Mick), much loved mum of Linda and Carole, mother in law to Paul and the late Mark, a devoted and cherished grandmother to Lee and his wife Becki, Laura and Vicky, proud great grandmother to Alfie and Evie, auntie to Les, Ian, Philip and Jean. Miriam, passed away on Sunday 8th May 2022, at Holbrook Hall Residential Home, aged 90 years. Beloved partner of the late Bill, much loved auntie to Linda, Carole and Ian. Una and Miriam will be greatly missed by all of their family and friends. A service for Una and Miriam will be held at 11:00 on Thursday 9th June at All Saints' Church, Turnditch, DE56 2LJ, followed by burial in the churchyard.
