Deepest sympathy to Aunty Frances Cousin's Martin and Catherine.
When I think of Uncle Marty I just remember his kindness, big smile, work ethic and family values. I also remember our summer time trips from Leicester to Achonry via train and boat but mostly in the back of Uncle Ollies blue Ford Cortina. All the cousins, Brett's, Gallagher's, Murphy's and Cunningham's, would help bring in the hay and the turf with Marty, Johnny, Ollie, Jimmy, Shay, Alfie and Denny which would have been rewarded daily with Nana Brett's dinners of bacon, cabbage and spuds and a weekend trip to Tobber for a game of pool in Foleys while the Aunties and Uncle's danced around the May Queen dancefloor with a baby sham or two.
Great memories and a craicing childhood and upbringing its a shame we all had to grow up really.
Uncle Marty you were in the forefront of all those memories and will be sadly missed but never forgotten.
Thankyou for the memories. Seamus.
