Rita MayBROOMFIELD (née Wood)née Wood Passed away at Queen's Hospital on Saturday 28th August 2021, aged 73 years. Mum to Katy and Richard, grandma to Ethan and Grace, sister to Marilyn, Tom and Linda and the late Terry, Ivy and Derek. Funeral Thursday 16th September, service 11.30am at All Saint's Church, Branston, followed by interment in Stapenhill Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in memory payable to 'Murray's Charity Account' (to be divided between 'Transform Salone' and 'Broadway Social Enterprise') may be sent c/o Murray's Funeral Directors 23 York Street, Burton. Rita's life was an inspiration- unconditional love, trust and faith in God, abundant ideas and generosity were her hallmarks.
I have so valued our long friendship, Rita and the prayers and fun we shared- you taught me things I will never forget.
Rest in peace, dear sister, until we meet again.
Our love and prayers for your family as they adjust to the gap you leave in their lives.
You will be missed but never forgotten. xx
