John EdwardBROWNINGPassed away peacefully on 23rd January 2020 at Mount Carmel House, after a short illness and stay at the Royal Derby Hospital. Dearly loved husband of the late Mary, married for 63 years. Dad to Kevin and Teresa, father in law to Gill, granddad and great granddad. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. John was a former employee at British Rail Wolverton and Railway Technical Centre Derby. Sincere thanks for the dedicated care given by the Staff of Mount Carmel and loyal friendships of St Mary's Priests and parishioners. John will be received into St Mary's Catholic Church, Bridge Gate on Thursday 13th February at 6pm. Funeral Friday 14th, Requiem Mass at 1pm followed by committal at Markeaton Crematorium. Family flowers only please. John was a lovely man who I managed to get to know very well during his time at mount Carmel, he will sadly be missed but I know he will be happy to be reunited with his Mary who he missed dearly!
