Melvin AlbertBUTTRESSof Teversham Passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday 20th March 2019, aged 82, surrounded by his family. Devoted Husband to Christine, Father to Ray, David, Alan & Sandra, Grandad to Gemma, Toby, Michael, Matthew, Jessica, Jasmine, Harvey, Megan and Georgina-Rae. Will be much missed by all whose lives he touched. Funeral to take place at Teversham All Saints Church on Tuesday 16th April at 12 noon followed by interment in the churchyard. Family flowers only please, donations may be made to Cancer Research UK or All Saints Church, Teversham, may be sent c/o Richard Stebbings Funeral Services, Kendal House, Cambridge Road, Impington CB24 9YS Tel: 01223 232309.

To the family of Melvyn Buttress so sorry to hear of your loss I didn’t know if I had I would have attended his funeral on behalf of my late father Ken Gooden who knew Melvyn well and always had fond memories of him from when he lived in Teversham. He will be greatly missed rest in peace our dear friend.
