Joseph BrianCARDYBorn in Cranwell on March 25, 1935, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2022, at home with family. Loving husband to Betty, father to Sally and Jackie, grandfather to Sara, James, Guy, Greg, Jack, Sophie and Frances and great grandfather to Seth, Emma, and Dougie, Brian also leaves behind his brother James and his family. Dad had so many friends who he made at work in the RAF and later as an independent consultant, as well as in the Masons, Rotary, and church. Dad had many buddies on the hockey field and on the squash court, as well as through supporting all of his family in their various endeavors. He was both a fierce competitor and lifelong cheerleader. We would like to thank all of you for your kind messages and sharing so many lovely stories with us in recent days. We would like to thank the countless medical professionals who have shown both Dad and our family care and compassion during the last two years. Special thanks to Corrine, Raj and Pavel. If you were not the recipient of one of Dad's business cards over the last 87 years, we apologise; we imagine it's because he didn't meet you in person. Dad was kind, calm, chatty, funny, loving and interested in everything that was going on and everyone he met. Dad will be missed. We are temporarily lost without him but know that he looks over us always. Please feel welcome to join us on Monday 18th July 2022 at St Germain's church in Scothern (LN2 2UA), at 2.30pm, to celebrate his life and legacy. Family Flowers only, donations if desired for the RAF Benevolent Fund and the British Heart Foundation. C/o Lincolnshire Co-operative Funeral Services, Tritton Road, Lincoln, LN6 7QY Tel 01522 534971
