The obituary notice of Margaret CORFIELD

Grandma, I always loved when I used to stay at yours every summer and annoying you in so many ways.
I’ll miss staying up until ungodly hours of the morning on the PlayStation in your kitchen and you coming in and telling me off and to go to sleep, even though when I finally got out of bed past midday you’d ask me about what I’d been doing on the game.
I’ll forever remember the time I melted a pizza (along with the plastic tray) in your oven and stunk the kitchen out! Or when Millie and Max met for the first time and she’d have nothing to do with him until he hurt himself!
Whether we were sitting watching the chase, or going into town to do the shopping I always loved spending time with you and am so grateful now I had the opportunity to.

Thank you for always letting me stay at yours, i’m forever grateful for the time we spent together. I hope I made you proud and promise I will keep trying to.

Oh Mam I can’t believe you’ve gone. You have left us with the best legacy in our beautiful family. We are what we are because of you and Dad. Hoping you are telling him all about all the wonderful grandchildren he never got the chance to meet.
