JoanCOUNSELLJoan Counsell, nee Machell, of Haslingden, passed away peacefully at Highfield Hall on Saturday, July 23, aged 86. She was born and lived in Haslingden all her life. In her working life she worked at Waterside Mill, then at Scapa at Stubbins, and retired from Musbury Fabrics. She was a longtime member of the Haslingden Conservative Club, and loved her holidays in Crete. Joan was the dearly loved wife of the late Richard Counsell. She leaves her sons Christopher, Ian, and Andrew, daughters-in-law Anita, Christine and Paula, grandchildren James, Richard, Amy, and Ellie, and great-granddaughters Alice, Millie, and Hallie.
