Jose AgnesCOX-LINDOPA memorial service will be held in Crewe in summer 2021 José Agnes Cox-Lindop passed away on the 29th October 2020 in Whitburn, Tyne and Wear. She is survived by her two sons, Andrew and Chris, her five grandchildren Jack, Thomas, William, Oliver and Alice and her sister Val. She married Harold Cox in 1955, and moved from Crewe to Derby in 1967 and raised her children there. She returned to Crewe in 1992 where she lived with Denis (Sid) Carr. She recently moved to Whitburn to be close to Chris and his family. José was a wonderful loving mother and grandmother who was cherished by her sons and grandchildren. She travelled every year to visit Andrew and his family in Canada and similarly to visit Chris and his family in Newcastle. She will be terribly missed by all. We love you Mum / Gran.

It is with a sad heart that I have learnt of the passing of my Auntie Jose. She was a lovely lady in all her ways As a child I often stayed with her and Uncle Harold and we remained friends over many years, meeting up occasionally and exchanging Christmas cards, emails and texts. I would love to hear from any of her family especially from her boys, who will I know will be missing her dreadfully.
