I am so saddened to hear of Davids passing, he was a real friend to me on the pgde course who offered so much kindness and support in the short time I knew him. Sadly we never got the chance to meet face to face but David left a lasting impression on me, he always had a smile to share and a story to tell. A true gent who will be sorely missed. Rest in Peace xxx

I'm shocked and saddened to hear of David's death. When the pandemic is over and I'm able to return to the pub I will raise a toast to his memory and his promise of buying me a pint.
