Robert Ewan (Bob)CURRIE (of Ashcott)of Ashcott Passed away peacefully at Yeovil District Hospital on Friday 26th February 2021, aged 85 years. Beloved husband of Georgie, dearly loved father of Andrew, James, Peter and John, dear father-in-law and a much loved grandfather and great grandfather who will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic regulations a Private Funeral Service will be held at All Saints Church, Ashcott followed by a Private Committal at Sedgemoor Crematorium. Attendance by invitation and family flowers only please. Donations if desired for All Saints Church Ashcott can be sent directly to the church. All enquiries to M Franks & Sons Funeral Directors Bath Road, Ashcott, Bridgwater, TA7 9QT.

A hard but fair Boss. I certainly would not have had 37 years service with Babcock without his input. So sorry we did not have that meeting we had planned before this Covid came along.

What a character. Love him or hate him, without his mentoring and help my career would have been less fun and certainly less prosperous. Ask anyone who worked for him in the 80’s and they will all have an amusing anecdote and fond memories of Bob Currie
