Forgot to say in my tribute that when I was 16, Tommy went with me to Liverpool so I could see the Beatles in concert. He had to walk round in the rain until I came out. When I was 17, I was only allowed to go to the Friday night dance at the Majestic because Tommy was going to be there with his friends to keep an eye on me. It was such a joy to be with him and our other siblings at Bill’s 80th birthday and it was so lovely to have Tommy and Rhoda visit us when we moved to Staindrop. Family was important to Tommy and I enjoyed his regular phone calls. I can’t believe he’s gone but he won’t eve4 be forgotten. Carol

Our thoughts and prayers are with you Rhoda, and all your family.
My earliest memories of Tommy are Christmas mornings when he would look after his youngest siblings when we woke very early, playing games with us in front of the fire. Also riding on his shoulders when I grew too tired to walk! Always caring, that was Tommy. Will not forget his jokes and laugh either.
With love,
Margaret (and Anna)

Dad, you were the one I laughed with, fought with, cuddled with, sought advice from, got up to mischief with and loved with all my heart. I will miss you but will remember the laughter more than the heartache xxx

Rhoda, Esther and I send our deepest condolences to you and all your family for the loss of our Tommy. We are so pleased we were able to see him when he came to my 80th birthday celebrations. I have fond memories, like anyone who knew him and will always regret that the times when we have been able to get together have been so few and far between. We plan to plant 2 olive trees in Israel in remembrance of Tommy. With love from Bill.

Our thoughts are with you, Rhoda, and all the family. You have lost a husband, a father, father in law, grandad. I have lost my big brother. Like you, I have lovely memories of him and he will always be remembered for his humour, his outgoing nature and the very strong love he had for his family. He will be greatly missed.
