David CliffordDAVIESCliff Aged 97. Of Cherry Grove Sketty Swansea. On 28th December 2020 peacefully at Brynfield Manor Nursing Home. Loving husband of the late Mona, beloved father of Siân and Huw, grandfather of Gareth, Hannah, Eleri and Rhiannon, great-grandfather of Jack, Lucy and Beau. In his youth he was a talented athlete and sportsman, as a WW2 veteran he served with the Royal Corps of Signals in North Africa, Sicily and Mainland Italy, post war he set himself up in business as a carpenter and builder in Swansea. A deacon in Ebenezer Newydd, and a member at Bethel Chapel Sketty, Cliff also supported many Welsh speaking societies in the area. Sadly missed by all who knew him.
