GordonDAVIESIt is with great sadness that the family of Gordon Davies, aged 88 years announce his peaceful passing, after a short illness, on Sunday 16th January 2022 at the Royal Derby Hospital. Gordon will be lovingly remembered by Sheila, his beloved wife of 63 years. He will be greatly missed by his much loved son, Nigel and fiancée Megan, his brother Alan, sister-in-law Brenda, nephew Andrew and friend of many! He was also a very much cherished Grandad known as "Gangan" to his three grandsons, Roman, Rio and River and fondly thought of by Maggie. A funeral service for Gordon will be held on Friday 11th February at 11am at Markeaton Crematorium (Main Chapel). Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made online to the Royal Derby Hospital (ward 312) where the staff provided Gordon with unquestionable care, by visiting funeral-notices.co.uk or placed in the donation box provided at the service.
