On April 26th aged 83 years, Joan, nee Thompson, dearly loved wife of the late Douglas, married for 60 years, loving mam of Lesley and Caroline, mother-in-law to Paul and Martin, much loved nanna to Philip, Michael, Ashleigh, Adam and Mathew, also great-grandma to Jude. Family and friends meet for Requiem Mass in St Mary's R C Church, Blackhill on Tuesday May 11th at 10am, followed by private cremation at Mountsett Crematorium. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Parkinson's UK, 215 Vauxhall Bridge London SW1V 1EJ. All enquiries to Derwentside Funeral Service. Tel: (01207) 234444.
