I first met Ivan over twenty five years ago when my parents moved to the bungalow opposite his.
Like Alan, I soon got to know what a kind and caring person he was, always willing to help others, going out of his way to lend a hand, do an errand and so forth.
I was a pleasure to have known you Ivan.
Rest in Peace.

I got to know you Ivan as a very good and caring friend to my late parents who lived opposite.
Every time I saw you, you were very sociable and I quickly observed what a very selfless person you were.
There is nothing you would not assist my parents and others with.
You were a great asset to this world we live in.
You will be sadly missed by not only me but many others you came across.
Rest in peace.
