Muriel AnneDOBBSPeacefully, in the warm care of Newgrove Residential Home, Muriel passed away early in the morning of Sunday 22 November 2020. Loving and much loved wife of the late Sonny, she was a mum and step-mum, mother-in-law, grandma, great grandma, sister, sister-in-law and cousin, as well as auntie to a multitude, not all of whom were officially her nieces and nephews. The world is a poorer place without her, and she is sadly missed. A service to celebrate her life will be held at Grimsby Crematorium on Saturday 5th December 2020 at 3.00pm. Owing to current restrictions regarding attendance, the funeral will be immediate family only. It is hoped to hold a memorial gathering for both her and Sonny when restrictions allow, to which everyone who would normally have been welcome to attend the funerals will be invited, to share memories and raise a glass. I knew Muriel (and Sonny) as friends of my parents from the Frontiersman Club and they were just lovely people. Sad to hear this news but hope they are both at peace now. Love the Butler family x
