PatrickDOHERTY (Paddy)Paddy of Newcastle Passed away peacefully at his home in Whorlton Grange on 19 February 2019, aged 91 years. He was a much-loved husband, father and grandfather to his family and an active member of his local business community, following retirement from his life long career with British Telecom, where he fulfilled his ambition to become General Manager for the North East District. Friends and former colleagues are welcome to join his family at the funeral service which will be held at West Road Cematorium at 11:15 on Tuesday 12 March. The family would like to extend their gratitude to all the staff at Whorlton Grange cottages in Westerhope for their attentiveness and loving care while Paddy was with them.

Have never forgot Mr. Doherty's kindness in early 1970's when my disabled parents needed urgent installation of a phone. Condolences and sympathies to the family. R.I.P.
