GilDOWNIE(Killingworth ) Passed away peacefully in hospital surrounded by his family on Wednesday 13th January, aged 82 years. Gil. Devoted husband of Margaret. Loving dad of Jacqueline and Paul. Proud granda of Jenny, Reece and Bryn. Gill will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. A celebration of Gill's life will take place at West Road Crematorium on Tuesday 2nd February at 11.15am. Family flowers only by request. Donations in lieu if desired to Search and Rescue and RSPCA. A donation box will be available at the service.
