MargaretEDGARM.A. BA (HONS),CERT ED, ARCM Sadly passed away peacefully on 8th August 2020 after a short illness, aged 82 years. Beloved wife of William T Edgar (Bill) and a wonderful mother to Joanne and Martin. Much loved by her son in law and daughter in law Bruce and Trudy. Devoted to all her grandchildren, Katie, Darcy, Jonathan, Lucas. She leaves her surviving sister Joan and is now with her dearly missed brother David. Her family meant the world to her and she will be greatly missed. Margaret held many happy memories of her twenty-four years as Headteacher at Birkby Infants and had fond memories of all her staff, pupils and parents. Due to the current restrictions a private cremation will take place on Tuesday, 25th August at 11.30am at Huddersfield Crematorium. Family flowers only but any donations to RNLI, c/o Hilary Turner (Treasurer), 4 Glenside Road, Slaithwaite, Huddersfield, HD7 5LD or the Alzheimer's Society, 43-44 Crutched Friars, London, EC3N 2AE with thanks.
