ShirleyEDWARDSPassed away peacefully on 15th August 2020 at the Royal Derby Hospital, aged 84 years. Dearly beloved wife of Dennis, much loved mum to Nigel and Pat, mother in law to Jayne and Howard, grandma to Ellie, Jocelyn and Edward. Due to the current situation, there will be a private family funeral at Trent Valley Crematorium. Donations in memory of Shirley are for the Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance. I have such wonderful childhood memories of being at the farm with Auntie Shirley, particularly at Christmas time. She had such a big heart and the most infectious giggle. When she was around, fun was guaranteed. Auntie Shirley you will be greatly missed. Love Sarah, Phil and Millie xx

To a very special Aunty who will be greatly missed. Spending time with you has always been a pleasure filled with lots of laughs and giggles. I feel it a privilege that I have always been welcomed and treated as part of the immediate family, and have been very honoured to share many celebrations with you all. For that I will always be eternally grateful. You will forever remain in my heart and in my thoughts.
