Angeleen 'Angie'EMERSON (Nee Merricks)Nee Merricks The family are heartbroken to announce that Angie passed away suddenly at Scunthorpe General Hospital on 1st April 2021 aged 72 years. Beloved wife of the late Michael Emerson, cherished mother of Ellen and Denise, mother-in-law of Nigel and Tim and devoted nana of Ethan and Melissah. Angie was also the adored sister of Peter and the late Alan, sister-in-law of Dorothy and a good friend to many. Due to current restrictions a private service will take place on 16th April 2021. However, provisions will be made available upon request for those wishing to view the service remotely. Family flowers only with donations to Harper Asprey Wildlife Rescue-Project Amazing Grace. Angie is currently resting at J Naylor Funeral Directors, Comforts Avenue, Scunthorpe, DN15 6PN. Telephone 01724 280082 where any enquiries may be made -

Very sad to learn of Angie's untimely passing. She and her late husband, Mike, were life long friends. I was their Best Man and God Father to daughter, Ellen. A lovely lady taken from her family and friends far too early. RIP Angie.
