IvorEVANSThe funeral has taken place of Ivor Evans who lived at Rossett and passed away at Nightingale House Hospice on 18th May 2012 aged 69 years. He leaves wife Liz, son Alex, daughter Alison and daughter-in-law Nicola. Ivor was a retired director of several companies in Liverpool. He attended Wrekin College where he was a keen sportsman, in particular a cricketer. In later years he kept up his interest in cricket as well as lifelong support of Everton Football Club. The Funeral Service was at All Saints Church, Gresford followed by burial at Gresford Cemetery on 25th May 2012 and was conducted by Father Tudor Hughes. Bearers were David and Mark Reidford, Peter Hughes and Tony Vine. Other friends also attended. Arrangements: Roberts Bros, Pentre Broughton, Wrexham. Liz Evans and the family the late Ivor Evans wish to thank all relatives, friends and all the medical staff for their wonderful support and kindness and for the many cards and flowers. Thanks also for the donations in memory of Ivor for Nightingale House Hospice and The Shooting Star Unit and Wrexham Maelor Hospital.
