You are dearly missed every day by myself and others. I grew up with you in primary and you became such an important part of my life. I wish I could've told you how much positivity and light you brought onto me during the most intense period of my life. Mared was a ray of just magnificent sunshine and kindness. She will always be cherished by me in my memories and heart. I hope her family are doing okay and know what a joy their daughter was to me. She was amazing and always will be and to know she isn't here anymore is unfathomable. The world is a kinder place and thats down to her. God bless her and her family 💓

I'm so sorry to hear about the sudden death of Mared. This year we took an Italian class together and I was so grateful to have her there as a friend. She was such a lovely, sweet girl. I'm so glad to have met her. I'm sending all my love to her family - Josie

Yn naturiol, mae Ysgol Fferyllol a Gwyddorau Fferyllol Caerdydd wedi tristáu’n ddwfn yn dilyn marwolaeth annisgwyl Mared. Roeddem yn ei hadnabod fel unigolyn tawel, meddylgar a thawedog a oedd ar bob adeg yn barchus a’n ystyriol at eraill. Bu ei hymrwymiad a’r buddion a gyflawnwyd yn mentora ei chyd-fyfyrwyr yn glodfawr. Yn rhyfeddol roedd hi’n cyfuno hyn ag ysbryd gwrol a mentrus, ac angerdd i “dreulio’i gwyliau yn gwneud rhywbeth rhyfeddol”. Rydym yn haeddiannol falch o Mared ac mae’n meddyliau yn aros a’i theulu a ffrindiau.

The Cardiff School of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences is naturally deeply saddened by Mared’s unexpected death. We knew her as a quiet, reserved, and thoughtful individual who was always respectful and considerate of others. Her commitment to and the benefits she delivered in the mentoring of fellow students was renowned. Remarkably she combined this with an intrepid and audacious spirit, a passion for wanting to "spend her summers doing something extraordinary”. We are justly proud of Mared and our thoughts remain with her family and friends.
