Never met Jerry but recently watched the film. Couldn't believe that he had passed so suddenly whilst watching. Difficult to know what to say except he has opened my heart to the mysteries of life and the nature of being. I will live my life in a deeper sense having met Jerry, through his film.

My name is Mark and I was travelling abroad from California, camping across England, stopping in Folkstone in early October, 2011, where I met Jeremy. I travelled around England some more and saw Jeremy once more before I left England near the end of October. We became fast friends, I met one of his sons, Simon. While Jeremy and me drank tea, Jeremy talked about the TV series he was fond of, Northern Exposure, we talked for hours. I found out about his passing away only a day ago on January 13th.

I was amazed at his humanity, his wide range of interests, and how he constructed what I thought of as his Robinson Crusoe cabin out there on the beach.

When I heard Jeremy passed away I was sad of course, because I had not met anyone as interesting as Jeremy in years. I wish I could have been at the wake, and the Viking funeral burning of the boat.

Thanks for the wonderfull conversations we had Jeremy and all my best wishes to everyone who loved Jeremy.

Sincerely, Mark
