Albert JamesGALSWORTHYPassed away peacefully after a short illness in UHW with his family by his side on 1st November 2024, aged 97 years.

Beloved husband of the the late Gladys. Much loved father of Barbara and son-in-law Stuart. Cherished grandfather of Victoria and husband Mark, special great-grandfather to Gabriella and Sebastian. Will be missed by his nieces Cheryl and Linda and their families.

Resting at James Summers, Lavernock Rd, Penarth until the funeral service on Wednesday 27th November, 2024 11.00am at Cardiff and Glamorgan Crematorium, Port Road Barry.

Family flowers only but donations in lieu, if desired, may be sent to Ty Hafan Childrens Hospice, Hayes Road Sully. CF64 5XX

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Albert, please accept my sincere condolences from all of us here at Tŷ Hafan. Albert was a very special person and we can see from your Tribute page they were dearly loved by all of their family and friends. They will be missed. 

At Tŷ Hafan, the diagnosis of a life-shortening illness turns everyday life upside down for families, leaving them facing a future that is so different to the one they imagined. Your generosity means they can receive the care and support they need. Thanks to you, they can create a lifetime of memories in the time they have together, just like your memories of Albert. I hope that gives you some comfort during this sad time.
