What can I say , it’s taking me this long to write this as I still don’t believe it’s real.
You was such a big part of mine my kids and Brian’s life and we don’t know how we will get over this.
We had the most amazing times together and made the best memories ever.
Your loving caring nature to everyone will be missed beyond words .
You were and always will be my hero
No one will ever come close to you and the bond we had .

I hope we done you proud yesterday Mick, Michaela was so strong, Nicky done so well, doing the speeches for Michaela and the girls, and our Louie was so strong carrying you on your final journey it was lovely seeing your friends, get to spend time with Louie and put a face to the name of your only Grandson who you was so proud of, like you was of all of your grandchildren. We loved hearing your friends share the funny stories about your many adventures of your colourful life.

So very sad to hear this. It’s an end of an era.
Danny and myself were fortunate to meet Mick through Michaela and Bri in 1998. Our girls when they were born later. All of our family loved him dearly . Sadie sharing his birthday . We had many birthdays together in Oz even such an age difference.
I met Mick more than half my life ago . He always welcomed me as his own family. I spent more time with him over the years than my own dad as he was here so often in Sydney.
He always got me to iron his shirts before a night out. My young days when he would join us at warehouse raves. Christmas Day at our place. He was always the life and soul of the party.
I loved the wild times with him but as he got older and health deteriorated enjoyed the quiet moments and words we had as he would sit in our living room at Eastern avenue. The conversations we would have if we were alone about his love worries and care for his beautiful family. Lots of love to his family and friends. Sorry we are not there today.
Lots of love
