We are saddened to hear of Bettys’ passing.
I, Eddie) was student at Shooting Butts School 1951 to 1954 in which time I was a student in her class’s but her art class was the best. Her husband John was also a favorite with many boys, especially his Welsh sense of humor
We thankfully had the chance to meet Betty and John in 2002 spending quality time in their lovely garden at Weeping Cross. We conversed on the phone usually at Christmas time. She would send a Christmas card every rear, with beautiful handwriting.
Too far away to attend but our thoughts will be with her family and friends at the time of her funeral.

Such an inspirational woman, I learnt alot from Betty over the many years of having the privilege to support her, each day became a struggle, but each day she battled on like a trooper! I know that you are at peace now and I’m glad u are out of pain,I will forever miss you asking me for a hug, to me you will always be my “adopted gran” and I will forever treasure the friendship that we grew to have and the memories of our little laughs together, I will forever hold a special place for u in my heart, RIP Betty ~ love and hugs always xx
