Patricia MariaGROVES (née Strong)née Strong (Whitley Bay) Peacefully in St. Oswald's Hospice on 17th August, aged 59 years. Dearly loved wife of Brian, dear mam of Gemma and Kaylea, mother-in-law of Scott and Adam, a much loved grandma of Jack, Max and Zara, beloved daughter of Shirley and the late Joe, dear sister of Tony, Julie and Kerry. Friends please meet for service at Preston Cemetery Chapel, North Shields on Tuesday 7th September at 11.00am followed by interment in Preston Cemetery. It was Tricia's wish that mourners wear something red. All welcome to The Sportsman, Preston Village afterwards. Family flowers only please donations in lieu may be sent for St. Oswald's Hospice C/o Melrose Funeral Services, 157-159 Astley Road, Seaton Delaval, NE25 0DL.

I am so very sad to hear the news about Tricia. We worked together at different places in BT. We also used to go to lunch and wander round town. We really did have some good laughs together. I hope you are now at peace Tricia. Sending my condolences to ALL of your family. God Bless.
