RogerGUYTONIt is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Roger Guyton (Gdad) at Papworth Hospital, aged 89. He is predeceased by his wife Pat Guyton and his daughter Karen Bell and will be sadly missed by his loving daughters: Alison Guyton and Melanie Malcolm-Brown, his Grandchildren: Naomi, Jeska, Oliver, Natasha, Matt and Jack and his Great Grandchildren: Ben, Cameron, Caitlin and Spencer - as well as his extended family and wide circle of friends. Roger, originally from Letchworth, Hertfordshire, was a proud Royal Navy Submariner and family man. He was described by his Grandson Jack as so much more than a Grandad - a friend, football coach, neighbour, guardian, confidante and an amazing Monopoly player. Roger's family will receive friends and relatives at a funeral service that will be held at The Woodland Burial Ground, Barton at 10:30am on the 17 January 2019, followed by a celebration of his life at Brewery Road, Pampisford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either The Arthur Rank Hospice or The Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Family Association (SSAFA).
