Although we only met at family gatherings, Diana left a mark. An elegant and happy lady, we know you will be sorely missed by your three daughters, son, grandchildren and great grandchild.
May you Rest in Peace.

My dear Di, I can't believe you are gone. From the time we met at Maldon Probation Office, working at the Three Rivers, and your regular visits to Clacton. So many shared memories of people and places. Such fun we had. You always had to see the sea and loved having lunch looking at the water. Richard and I are going to miss you so much my dear friend. Rest peacefully. Xxx

What a gal! What a friend! Di and I kept each other company during the Covid lockdown, wearing our winter coats, sitting 2 metres apart, outside her back door!! However, before that, Diana provided me with such support when my husband was ill and after he died. All she did was give me her door key and say ‘come whenever you need me’
Since then we have laughed, argued, shouted at the tv, watched endless sport (yawn..) and quiz shows, drunk endless cups of coffee - and wine - and I have been so grateful for her joyful ‘presence’. I don’t ‘do’ flowers at funerals but I will make a grateful exception for Diana! Rest in peace my friend.
