Edgar GeorgeHARDINGOf Galhampton Many thanks to all those involved in making Edgar's Service such a joyous, memorable occasion - this is. The Reverend Rae Smith and Church officers, the caterers, the florist... Shan, the Church florist and for the Montgomery family's kind permission for the use of The Court - most of all those who attended, some travelling quite a distance to do so. Special thanks to those who gave tribute and to Alan Bartlett for his wonderful Eulogy. Edgar's expectations that at 84 there would be no-one left to attend his funeral were seriously miscalculated - something which would never have happened had he been using his lathe. Grateful thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at Yeovil District Hospital, and Queen Carmel Medical Centre for all their kindness and care. My thanks also go to the many relatives and friends for their kind cards and messages of sympathy, for their attendance at the service and for donations which are being gratefully received for Yeovil Hospital Charity (Breast Cancer Unit Appeal) c/o Mr Harold F.
