EileenHARDWICKof South Molton and former teacher of Filleigh Primary School Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday 7th March 2023, aged 76 years. Much loved Wife, Mother and Grand Mother. Funeral service to take place at the North Devon Crematorium, Barnstaple on Thursday 30th March at 2.20 pm. Family flowers only please, but donations welcome for Parkinson's UK at the service or c/o H. N. Blackmore & Sons Funeral Directors, 116 East Street, South Molton, EX36 3DB (01769) 572338

So sorry to hear of Eileen’s passing. She was an inspirational teacher, and my children were lucky to have been taught by her at Filleigh. I worked with Eileen when I was chair of Governors at Filleigh, and have fond memories of that time. God Bless and rest in peace Eileen, heartfelt sympathy to Peter, and your lovely girls, and all the family, with kindest regards, Di Tearall

A very respected and popular teacher, Eileen wanted and helped all pupils to achieve their very best , I accompanied the children with Eileen on day trips and swimming sessions many times and she was great with the children on all occasions. Thank you for all the help you gave Gavin and Laura Burnell while they attended Filleigh school, Rest In Peace Eileen X
