Rest in peace Grandma, we will miss you. I’ll always remember the jumpers you used to make for us as children and more recently the blankets you knitted for Archie. I remember playing with my toys in your wonderful garden when you used to look after me and your lovely baking. You were so generous and kind. We will miss you always. With love from Christopher and Heather.

Dearest Mum and Mum in Law.
Where do we start. You were always there for us and will be dearly missed. We were lucky to have you in our lives for so long and what a pity that your 100 Birthday was so near but so far. We shall cherish all of our memories of you and will be forever in our hearts.
All our love Barbara & Ken xx

We will miss you grandma. I have so many fond memories of visiting your house as a child. I used to look forward to your famous meat and potato pie and playing in your lovely garden. Another favourite time was when we used to go into town together for the obligatory visit to M & S. I remember spending many hours looking at your knitting and sewing kits - the button tin was my favourite. Your knitted cardigans were always my girls favourite clothes to wear when they were young and they still use their knitted blankets today - they will become treasured items full of memories. Rest in peace grandma.
With love from Louise, Ben, Erin and Lucy x

Doris will be very sadly missed but she will be remembered for her knitting, crochet, embroidery, dressmaking and wonderful cooking. When a young girl she knitted socks for her brothers and father and told me of walking to school knitting. Doris loved her garden and has led a full and happy life. It has been a privilege to know her. Until we meet again may the lord hold you in the palm of his hand. Margaret Stanney.

Sleep tight to our Grandma Doris. We will never forget our Sunday visits as children and your amazing roast dinners and fabulous cakes. Even as adults, you always put on a bit of cake when we came to visit. The knitwear you made for all of our children, your great grandchildren, when they were born. They will remain treasured keepsakes forever. Your elegant poise with your ever so witty remarks will always be remembered. A remarkable lady!
All our love Aylee, Gav, Louis and Jesse xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
