Daphne ChristineHELM(Wylam) Peacefully in Hexham Hospital on 15th July, Daphne (nee Bainbridge). Dearly beloved wife of Rob, much loved mam of Robbie and Ross. Loving grandma of Daniella. Loved and sadly missed by all her family. A private family service will take place in St. Oswin's Church, Wylam on Thursday 23rd July prior to cremation at Mountsett Crematorium. Family flowers only please, donations if desired for Cancer Research UK, may be sent c/o E. Peart Ltd. Funeral Directors, 1 Kepier Chare, Crawcrook, Ryton NE40 4TS. Tel: 0191 4132318. The family wish to express sincere thanks to the staff of Ward 4 Hexham Hospital for their professionalism and compassion.

So very sad to hear about the passing of Daphne. I worked with Daphne at BT. We shared a desk and shifts. And more recently saw her at St James'Park! She was a joy to know. A lovely bubbly lady . We called her Daffers. I remember many happy times both at work and on nights out. I for one wont forget her. I'm sending my condolences to her family.
